The TABtouch Masters comes to a conclusion next week with the Group 1 Drummond Golf-Kingston Town Classic the highlight. Western Empire will be looking to give owners Bob and Sandra Peters, trainers Grant and Alana Williams and jockey William Pike a clean sweep of the Group 1 events.

Western Empire’s dominant win in the Railway Stakes is likely to see the Kingston Town field drop away to around 10 runners. Chris Parnham has been named on Kissonallforcheeks but late last week trainer Dan Morton was still looking at the possibility of running the mare in the A.J. Scahill Stakes.

The 1400m Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic for the three-year-olds is set to be a mix of runners dropping back from the WA Guineas and those going up in trip from the Placid Ark Stakes. Flying Missile won the Placid Ark Stakes but is no guarantee to line up in the Listed event, with Neville Parnham looking at running the mare over 1100m on December 11. Simon Miller looks to have a strong hand in the race with Stay Safe and Liwa.
