“I believe effective corporate governance should be at the heart of all organisations and Liz will help to ensure RWWA continues to develop a strong culture of integrity,” Ian said.
“It is vital to have robust legal and risk oversight that enables us to run our business successfully, managing our key risks and, importantly, maintaining the confidence of our sector and the broader community.
“Liz has extensive regulatory, corporate governance and leadership experience across multiple sectors including banking, finance, mining services, retail, aged care and disability.
“In her most recent role, Liz has proven herself capable of adapting to diverse and complex regulatory environments in response to the changing needs of the aged care sector.
“I look forward to working with Liz and believe the combination of her strong leadership and technical skills along with a personal interest in horse racing and responsible gambling will be a great asset to RWWA.”
