Awards to Recognise Women in the WA Greyhound Racing Industry
Nominations are now open for Racing and Wagering Western Australia’s (RWWA) Ladies of Chasing Awards, which will take place on Wednesday, 14 April 2021.
The awards celebrate the diverse role of women in the industry, with nominations open in the categories of leadership, welfare, administration, and dedication to greyhound racing.
RWWA General Manager Racing Charlotte Mills said the awards celebrate the dedication of the many women who work and thrive in the greyhound racing industry.
“Awards like these celebrate our incredible females both on and off the track in WA as well as recognise the driving change and new possibilities women in the greyhound industry are making for the next generation,” Charlotte said.
“I would urge anyone who knows a passionate and worthy candidate for any of the four categories to nominate them.”

- Leadership Award: an individual who has displayed leadership qualities, trail-blazing in promoting the WA greyhound racing industry or being an ambassador for the sport.
