Our Hi Jinx’s excellent performance throughout the Queensland feature races, including Saturday night’s win in the Group One Garrards Queensland Pacing Championship, has seen him rocket up the rankings of the TABtouch Inter Dominion to second spot behind Christen Me.
The Ian Guerney trained pacer has won two of the three big Queensland carnival races and finished third in the other.
The other big name mover was Mossdale Connor, breaking into the top ten of the rankings. The son of Bettor’s Delight has been performing well against New Zealand’s best, including third in today’s Ashburton Flying Stakes, a traditional lead-up to the New Zealand Cup.
The Top 30 ranked horses will race in the $1.8 million series starting on Friday 27 November. A second continuation fee is due on Friday 6 November, with the final acceptors and emergencies being declared on Friday 13 November.
