New Talent Shines At Pinjarra
Two new acquisitions to the powerful Gary Hall Snr and Greg and Skye Bond stables have made winning starts to their time in the state at Pinjarra this afternoon.
Pasquale and Street Hawk were having their first runs for the Hall Snr and Bond stable respectively and both produced solid first-up showings.
Pasquale, who joined the Hall Snr stable off the back of four unplaced runs in New Zealand, was replaced as favourite for the Jedede Grazing Pace (2185m) by his stablemate Louie The Lip.
Driver Chris Lewis restrained to the rear of the field in the early stages, as Maddy’s Nino got a charmed run from the back line to work forward and find the front.
Pasquale eventually worked to the breeze approaching the bell lap and was too powerful over the closing stages to score by 5.7m to Louie The Lip in 1:59.5.

Street Hawk started a commanding $1.12 favourite for the Medic Aid Pace (2185m) and never looked in any danger of being beaten.
The Bettors Delight colt was able to find the front easily in the early stages and went on to win by 17.5m to Sunshine Swift in 1:57.8.
Earlier in the day, The Ross Olivieri-trained See Ya Bye made a winning start to his career in the Gannons Sports Wear & Trophies Pace (2185m) for the two-year-olds.
