RACE 1 – BETTER YOUR BET WITH TABTOUCH PACE
- Kat Warwick (ALICE KAY): “Great draw. She’s a very strong front running mare. She’s really well and happy. Expect a bold showing.”
- Cody Wallrodt (ALLWOOD GLOW): “Not far off picking one of these up but this doesn’t look to be the one. Handy draw helps.”
- Nathan Turvey (THE WHITE RABBIT): “Each-way.”
- Kyle Harper (OUR STAR WATCH): “Awkward draw but has claims. Each-way.”
- (RENAISSANCE ART): “
- Michael Young (THE TIGER ARMY): “Drawn wide and will find it tough.”
- Ross Olivieri (RICHIE REACTOR): “He’s going alright. Only a rough place chance here.”
- (TRUELYLUCKY): “
- Dylan Egerton-Green (ANVIL ROLLOVER): “Racing super. Draw is a blow.”
- Trent Wheeler (MASTER LEIGHTON): “Good draw. Hopefully he hits the line well.”
- Chris Willis (THE VERANDAH): “Freshened-up nicely and expect a good performance from him.”
RACE 2 – AUSTRALIAN PACING GOLD PACE
- Colin Brown (REGAL CHEVAL): “Got the draw. Anticipating a quick lead time however he’s rock hard.”
- Shannon Suvaljko (VIVERE DAMORE): “Good mare resuming. Good draw and been trialling very well. Will run a big race.”
- Callan Suvaljko (ROCKNROLL WHITBY): “I would like to lead but he has other ideas so probably go to the fence and hope to get home.”
- Dylan Egerton-Green (TYLER BRETT): “Copped a good one last start. Suitable race for him. Can bounce back.”
- (TRIROYALE BRIGADE): “
- Brett Smith (MCARDLES GEM): “Looks tough from the draw. Will go back and drive for luck.”
- Donald Harper (BETTORSTARTDREAMING): “It’s an awkward draw. Getting better with every run. Will discuss what to do early with dad.”
- Michael Young (VESPA): “Drawn wide and will go back to the rail.”
- Michael Brennan (VALBONNE): “Tough from the draw. Will need the race run upside down.”
RACE 3 – GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE
- Dylan Egerton-Green (ILLAWONG MUSTANG): “Great draw. Racing well. Great each-way chance.”
- Karen Thompson (WHOSWHOINTHEZOO): “We will be trying to lead and not hand up.”
- Deb Padberg (LA SULIEMAN): “Will go well.”
- David Simmonds (MISS CAMOUFLAGE): “She went well last start. Will duck to the fence and she can run a place.”
- Kyle Harper (THE BLACK CARDINAL): “Even field. Each-way.”
- Nathan Turvey (ALTA RHETT): “Looks a nice-ish race for him.”
- Emily Suvaljko (JASPERVELLABEACH): “Think he’s the class horse of the field. Will drive him according to the pace of the race.”
- Deb Padberg (DEEORSE): “Racing well but it’s a wide draw.”
- Chris Lewis (FREE TO AIR): “It’s a bad draw. He just needs a draw. Racing okay.”
RACE 4 – CHANNEL 7 PACE
- Chris Lewis (PIERRE WHITBY): “He’s going to be in the mix. At some stage I wouldn’t y mind holding the lead. Whether it’s this week we will see.”
- Chris Voak (BATAVIA ON FIRE): “Should receive a soft trip with the favourable draw. Novelty hope.”
- Kyle Harper (SIR NICHOLAS): “Drawn closer to the rail this week which should help. Strong field. Maybe a novelty place bet at odds.”
- Michael Brennan (WHATABRO): “Tougher again this week. Is in great form. Will press forward from the draw and see how we go.”
- Dylan Egerton-Green (SHADOW ROLL): “Tricky draw but should hold his form.”
- Nathan Turvey (WALSH): “Each-way.”
- Justin Prentice (MANNING): “I was a little bit disappointed with his run last start. We will have to see how it’s run early. If the speed is genuine we might sit him up.”
- Gary Hall Jnr (DISCO UNDER FIRE): “Tough from out there.”
- (ALTA ENGEN): “
RACE 5 – CHANNEL 7 NAVY CUP
- Nathan Turvey (BLUE BLAZER): “Nice draw. Going well.”
- Kiara Davies (MEDIEVAL MAN): “Up in class. Will just duck to the rail.”
- Nathan Turvey (MIRACLE MOOSE): “Might need a run.”
- Greg Bond (GALACTIC STAR): “Should settle close and is a top three chance.”
- Justin Prentice (BACK IN TWENTY): “It’ll be hard. We probably need to come out, have a look early and see if we can get to the rail somewhere.
- Ross Olivieri (BOOM TIME): “He will have top be driven soft.”
- Greg Bond (VAMPIRO): “Great effort last Saturday night and has trained on nicely.”
- Ross Olivieri (THATS PERFECT): “He will have to be driven soft. Looking forward to him racing. I would’ve liked to pick up a race or two before he got to this level.”
- Deb Padberg (BRACKEN SKY): “Drawn wide. Hard task.”
- Ray Williams (MAGNIFICENT STORM): “He galloped well. This is his last run and then he will have two or three weeks off. We will look to get off the fence and then leave it to Aiden.”

RACE 6 – SIMMONDS STEEL FILLIES & MARES PACE
- Justin Prentice (ALTA LOUISA): “She’s been going really well. Hopefully she can hold the front early. She’s got really good gate speed.”
- (DIAMOND DOVE): “
- Donald Harper (JUST MAKEMINE DIAMONDS): “She was disappointing last start. Was out of her grade. The favourite has drawn one so maybe we can get three pegs and work from there.”
- (STORMYSKYES): “
- Ross Olivieri (TRINITY BROMAC): “Her last run was okay. If she improves she can possibly place.
- Michael Brennan (MISS LAMARR): “Tough from the draw. Going to need the race run upside down.”
- Chris Willis (BLISSFULLABBEY): “Freshened-up nicely and expect a good performance from her too.”
- Nathan Turvey (MINI MINE YET): “Hopefully goes better than last week.”
- Ross Olivieri (BORN TO BOOGIE): “Her first run was good. Was on equal marks last time with Alta Louisa, now she has barrier one.”
RACE 7 – INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL PACE
- David Simmonds (SOUTHERN BELLE): “She was a bit unlucky last start. Probably should’ve finished second. She’s probably better sitting on a horse and can be dangerous late. Will see who takes her and work out if we do lead. She’s on the improve though.”
- Emily Suvaljko (CARUBA): “Yet to hit peak form. Will drive her quietly so she can do her best work late.”
- Shannon Suvaljko (THE KRAKEN): “Good draw for him. Will drive confidently.”
- Donald Harper (THEREUGO): “He went terribly last week. Will be guided on whether he’s worked any better this week. I’d be inclined to go back and sit him up.”
- Greg Bond (INFATUATION): “Place chance here.”
- Chris Lewis (OUR SEQUEL): “I’ve been happy with his runs. Depending on how the race is run, it does look a suitable race. Not without a chance.”
- Chris Voak (RABCHENKO): “Draw hurts his chances. Hoping to find some form. Novelty hope.”
- Matt Scott (C C CHEVRON): “Right race. Wrong draw.”
RACE 8 – CHANNEL 7 2YO FILLIES PREFERRED PACE
- Greg Bond (IMA SOCIALITE): “Will take advantage of the nice draw.”
- (TORREVEAN AMY): “
- Donald Harper (SEE THE WORLD): “I’m happy with her. Last start was good. I expect her to run a good race. Where she lobs will determine how close we are at the pointy end.”
- (ULTIMATE TEMPTATION): SCRATCHED
- Greg Bond (IN THE SPOTLIGHT): “Quality filly. Interesting to see how she handles the outside horses.”
- Justin Prentice (RAMBO RABBIT): “It’ll be a good test for him. He’s surprised me a fair bit. I think the longer distance shouldn’t be a problem. I’m not sure where he will end up. He did a lot of work last start and finished off well.”
- Emily Suvaljko (PATH OF GOLD): “He’s a consistent earner. Draw makes it hard.”
- Ryan Bell (SWINGBAND): “Has a bright future but from a tricky draw against filly that from what I’ve seen is very good. Each-way.”
RACE 9 – DIRECT TRADES SUPPLY PACE
- Emily Suvaljko (BURGHLEY SHARD): “Hood goes back on.”
- Mike Reed (OUR SHELLEY BEACH): “We will duck and dive for cover. Will try to earn.”
- Ryan Bell (HILLVIEW BONDI): “Racing out of his skin. If he happened to find the front I think they will know he’s there.”
- Justin Prentice (MR FANTASTIC): “I’ve liked him from the day he set foot in the stable. I was impressed with his last start and seems to have come through that race well. It’s a tricky draw. I think we have to hold our advantage early.”
- David Thompson (OTIS): “It looks like we will be parked. If we try and rush forward I think Justin’s will too. He’s as good as he was for his first two starts.”
- Ray Williams (STAMFORD): “He’s come in a lot different this preparation. He’s settled down. He will jump out and grab a spot. I imagine Otis will get the front.”
