- Chris Lewis (BLACK JACK ZAC): “Going okay. Should get a reasonable run.”
- Greg Bond (DONT BOTHER ME NONE): “Should be right in the finish.”
- Gary Hall Jnr (WILL I ROCKNROLL): “Hard to beat the four. I think he’s going well.”

- Kyle Harper (ALL THE WHISPERS): “Tough draw.”
- Jocelyn Young (MISTER ARDEE): “Draw makes it tough.”
RACE 2 – FARMLOCK FENCING ONLY AT DTS PACE
- Gary Hall Jnr (HEEZ OUR PERSEUS): “He should lead and win.”
- Matt Scott (BILLY MACK): “Perfect draw to tag on the back of the one and hope to run second.”
- Craig Saligari (THE LAST DROP): “I was happy with his first-up run after a long break and he should hopefully improve from the run. With a bit of luck he can run a place.”
- Michael Young (ZAZU): “Tricky draw. Pole horse looks the winner. Rough place chance.”
- Matt Scott (C C CHEVRON): “Held up last week. Will dive to the pegs and hope to run a place. She’s thriving.”
- (DISTINGUISHED TASTE): “
- Robert Hayward (CAPTAIN PROUD): “Dropping in class from the FFA but the draw makes it hard. Place chance.”

RACE 4 – GET THE BEST SERVICE ONLY @ DTS PACE

- Gary Hall Jnr (MSITER BUSHIDO): “He’s not racing well. Head for the fence.”
- Lindsay Harper (BETTORSTARTDREAMING): “Looks a chance at crossing. The two doesn’t appear to have the speed I do. He may be able to slide across.”
- Colin Brown (ARMA EINSTEIN): “He’s a chance.”
