Collie Race Club

It is documented that a meeting was held in January 1901 with the feature event the Collie Cup. The original Race Club was situated on the banks of the picturesque Collie river. Facilities have been gradually improved to meet the expectations of patrons in recent years. There is now a modern tote, bar, canteen and grassed area as well as an undercover area, with disabled access to all areas. The track is 1720 metres and has a slight incline in the straight. The popular Collie Cup meeting is held in late October each year, on Cox Plate Day and attracts a crowd in excess of 800 people.
