“The Mt. Barker Turf Club is situated in the heart of the Great Southern wine region in Western Australia. Vested in tradition and history the club was first formed in the early 1890’s – recently celebrating 125 years of racing. With 6 race meetings per year between November and March, the Mt. Barker Turf Club is known for its family friendly atmosphere. The Grapes and Gallops Race Day attracts a large attendance each January to celebrate the local wine and racing industries. The Mt. Barker Cup is also a highlight of the racing calendar in March each year. ”
