Corporate Social Responsibility
At Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about conducting our business ethically and how we take into account the financial, environmental and social impacts of our decisions and actions.
We believe that behaving responsibly is critical to the sustainability of our organisation. Our CSR strategy is aligned with our business goals and values, and fits within the following five key pillars:
- Our People – look after the health safety and development of our people.
- Our Reputation – protect and enhance our reputation with stakeholders.
- Our Community – contribute positively to the community in which we operate.
- Our environment – minimise our environmental footprint.
- Governance for Creating Value – provide appropriate governance structures to safeguard value creation.
Community TAB is responsible for upholding CSR of RWWA and was created to provide information on the funding provided to the WA community from RWWA.
RWWA’S COMMITMENT TO RESPONSIBLE WAGERING
RWWA acknowledges our moral, social and business responsibilities to promote responsible wagering amongst our patrons and actively promote a view of shared responsibility. We also aim to provide all industry participants with an open and supportive environment in which to safely participate in our wide and varied activities.
