BENEFITS OF OWNING A STANDARDBRED IN WA
In Recognition Of Your Valuable Contribution As An Owner, RWWA In Conjunction With All WA Harness Racing Clubs Will Provide You With An Owners Season Pass.
This allows free entry for two people into any harness racecourse during the season (subject to the club’s conditions of entry). The cards are drawn once a horse has started in a race for the season, unless the horse raced the previous season, then the card is issued at the commencement of the season.
As a winning owner you will also be invited into the winners circle should your horse be successful for postrace celebrations and a photo with the horse, trainer and driver.
Although many horses race in the colours registered by their trainer, some owners may wish to register their own set of unique racing colours. For more information on registering your own racing colours, contact RWWA’s Licensing and Registrations department on 9445 5558 or email licreginfo@rwwa.com.au.
Many owners will also like to have input on the race night driver and race programming for their horse which would normally be done in consultation with the trainer.

Prizemoney levels for the WA Harness industry have been steadily increasing in recent years and provide a solid return on investment for Standardbred owners in this state.
