RWWA Stewards today resumed the adjourned inquiry last conducted on 4 March 2020, into an allegation that prior to Race 3 at Gloucester Park on 24 January 2020, Trainer/Driver Mr. C Hall made an improper statement(s) to Trainer/Driver Mr C. Saligari who had a runner engaged in the race, with regard to the tactics and handling of that runner.
The inquiry was previously adjourned at the request of Mr Hall in order that he seek further advice.
Due to the current restrictions that apply, the inquiry was conducted via teleconference with Deputy Chief Steward Mr R. Chappell, Mr Hall and Mr Saligari involved, where further evidence was heard including various submissions made by Mr Hall.
The matter was subsequently adjourned in order to enable Mr Hall to provide various documentation in support of submissions he made.
Upon receipt of those documents the panel will be able to consider all of the evidence now before it in its entirety and determine whether or not any charges arise under the RWWA Rules of Racing.
Mr Hall’s licences with RWWA remain suspended pending the outcome of this matter.
