Thoroughbred Stewards Inquiry – Trainer Mr Bernie Miller (SHEZA CHALMER)
Racing and Wagering Western Australia’s (RWWA) Stewards have been advised by the Chem Centre in Perth that arsenic, at a concentration in excess of the threshold (0.30 milligrams per litre in urine) within the Rules of Racing, has been detected in the sample taken from SHEZA CHALMER (trained by Mr. B Miller) after it had competed and won Race 4 at Ascot on 8 May 2021.
These findings have been verified by Racing Analytical Services Ltd (Vic).
Accordingly, the Stewards will inquire into these reports on Friday 25 June 2021, which Mr Miller has been directed to attend.
