Educating
The Educating Stage Of A Horse’s Racing Career Is Extremely Important. When Educating A Horse, The Aim Is To Develop A Trusting Relationship Where The Person And The Horse Have A Mutual Respect For One Another.
Horses mature at widely different rates. Therefore, training and racing schedules are carefully planned to take into account individual needs and minimise the risk of any form of injury.
The Australian racing industry does not accept educating and training methods which unreasonably influence the normal behaviour of a racehorse, and this is something that is closely monitored by the RWWA Stewards. Racehorses are only allowed to be given training schedules which are suited to their physical capabilities and level of maturity.
