What we're looking for…

We're evolving and maturing as an agile organisation, but we know we can do better. We're looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps individual who is a known thought leader, having proven experience fostering a DevOps culture, advocating its best practices and benefits to all stakeholders.  You'll be working in an ever evolving environment in a highly competitive industry, where the challenge is to continually innovate and deliver value to our customers at rapid pace.

You will help drive the strategic direction of DevOps in RWWA, across all products, including our critical TABtouch web and mobile platforms. Your communication and coaching skills will allow you to collaborate and influence multiple stakeholders to ensure that our long term strategic product focus is constantly met. As the expert you will also be rolling up your sleeves. Your proven hands-on experience in DevOps practices from automation and orchestration frameworks to containerisation technologies is important.

About you…

We're super excited about this role and to standout we'll need you to:

  • Have applied use of orchestration, configuration management and deployment automation tools such as Ansible in a CI/CD environment.
  • Have strong scripting skills using tools such as MS PowerShell.
  • Have experience with containerisation principles and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Have experience managing and configuring AWS and Azure platforms including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions.
  • Have worked with source control tools, restful APIs and programming experience using languages such a Python.
  • Have a passion for automating everything.
  • Have a deep understanding and practical application of agile methodologies.
  • Possess a collaborative leadership style with the ability to successfully influence and engage a range of stakeholders.
  • Be a champion for change and have a willingness to adopt, assess and implement new technologies and solutions when the opportunity arises.

You will also need to be a great fit with our team. We're looking for someone who is positive, has an open mind and is willing to bring fresh ideas to the way that we work.
