It is a requirement of all rules of racing that the true and correct ownership of the animal is properly recorded with RWWA. The correct payment of stakemoney demands that the ownership records for every animal competing must be correct at the time of the race. In this respect any changes to ownership must be advised promptly and prior to the animal completing any racing engagements.

To effect a change in ownership or membership of a Syndicate, the relevant form along with prescribed payment must be forwarded to Licensing and Registrations.

Participants please note the following amendments to Registration of Stud Dogs from 1st January, 2011:

*Amendments to R132 Breeding unit collection and registration inclusion of a National Sire Registrations Policy.

From 1/01/2011 The Sire Registrations Policy will be administered wholly by Greyhounds Australasia, and as such RWWA will no longer receive registrations for same. Stud Dogs already registered with RWWA will not be required to re-register with GA, as RWWA registered Stud Dogs already registered by 31st December 2010 will automatically be carried over to a Lifetime Registration with Greyhounds Australasia. Participants wanting to place new Stud Dog registrations from 1st January, 2011 will need to register & pay direct to GA. The National Sire Registration fee ($600 in 2011) is to be a life time fee increased progressively over the next three years.
