Reward & Recognition Programmes – we have designed a range of reward and recognition programmes to provide an assortment of options to suit the particular circumstances and the individual. Whether an employee has actively demonstrated one of our four values or gone the extra mile they could receive bi-monthly or instant rewards for their behaviour, including Red Balloon vouchers, Coles Myer gift cards or movie tickets as examples.
To further enhance our offer to existing and new employees RWWA is continually reviewing employee benefits that will ensure we retain and financially reward staff within the organisation.
Currently these include;
Individuals and teams are encouraged to volunteer their time to not-for-profit organisations at RWWA. The RWWA Volunteering Program allows teams and individuals the flexibility to use their time to benefit the community.
RWWA employees have various opportunities to volunteer their time to not-for-profit organisations through Community TAB partnerships.
Riding for the Disabled
Riding for the Disabled Association of WA (RDAWA) combines the transformative power and the therapeutic effects of horse riding in the provision of equine assisted activities, for people with disabilities.
Through Community TABs partnership with RDAWA RWWA employees have many opportunities to volunteer for the organisation at their annual events such as the RDAWA State Games where hundreds of riders with disabilities come together to compete in friendlt mounted games.
Lifeline WA provides all Western Australians experiencing a personal crisis or thinking about suicide with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.
Through Community TABs partnership with Lifeline WA RWWA employees have various opportunities to volunteer for Lifeline WA at their fundraising events such as the HBF Run For a Reason, and also help fundraise on behalf of them by doing activities such as selling merchandise or gift wrapping over the festive season.
Netball WA Aboriginal Programs
The Netball WA Aboriginal Grassroots and All Stars Programs provide a positive environment and nurtures local role models to improve health and wellbeing and build sustainable capacity for regional towns and local communities in WA.
Through Community TABs partnership with Netball WA RWWA employees have the opportunity to volunteer at Netball WA events such as the annual NAIDOC carnical, Association Championships and more.
Greyhounds As Pets
Greyhounds as Pets WA (GAP) is a program of RWWA with the mission to promote, encourage and facilitate greyhound pet ownership to the wider community through the provision of safe, healthy greyhounds to homes throughout Western Australia.
RWWA employees have the opportunity to volunteer for GAP each quarter by walking and exercising dogs at their facility.
