Tomorrow night sees the running of the Westral Mares Classic at Gloucester Park. Gotta Go Gabbana, pictured above, won last year’s feature. Get the all important last word from the key trainers and drivers below.
RACE 1 – WESTRAL ROLLER & ROMAN BLINDS 3YO PACE
1. Dylan Egerton-Green (Typhoon Banner): “We won’t die wondering.”
2. Mike Reed (Valentines Brook): “Good draw. Couldn’t be happier with him.”
3. Chris Voak (Hotfoot It): “Ran well on Monday. Each-way from the draw.”
4. Emily Suvaljko (Jaspervellabeach): “Horse is racing very well but it’s hard to see where we end up from the draw. Will be getting to the line strongly.”
5. Mike Reed (Power And Grace): “Pulled up well after last start. Couldn’t be happier with him too.”
6. Jocelyn Young (Warriors Legacy): “Awkwardly drawn. Needs a better steer than the past two starts.”

4. Gary Hall Snr (Liam Neil): “Don’t know where he ends up. If he drew three I think he’d find the lead. If he leads he can win.”

1. Kim Prentice (Irish Coffee): “Hopefully she does everything right and will take a lot out of the experience of going to GP.
2. Mike Reed (Alrosa): “Knocked over on Tuesday. Forget she went around.”
3. Ross Olivieri (Our Shooting Star): “Ran 26.7 for her last 400 last start. Improved considerably. Browny’s horse looks outstanding. We are half a chance.”
4. Michael Blakemore (Goodealehmaddie): “Very happy with where she is at after her freshen-up. Good each-way chance.”
