Slot holders for the inaugural Western Trilogy race series include an exciting mix of racing talent and corporate power from Western Australia and across the nation.
In revealing the contenders for the $5.5million prize money in Australia’s first tri-code slot racing event, Racing and Wagering Western Australia Chief Executive Officer Ian Edwards said the range of applicants was impressive.
“We’ve had registrations from racing figureheads, corporate bookmakers, well-known businesses and leaders in the entertainment world,” Ian said.
“Together, they create a rich line-up of challengers for Western Australia’s richest-ever racing weekend this autumn.
“We look forward to hosting a sensational series of thoroughbred, harness and greyhound races and welcoming nationwide visitors to our glorious state.
“They will have the unique chance to witness the first running of The Quokka, The Nullarbor and The Sandgroper, which we anticipate will develop into a popular annual race series.”
