Reggemite was by imported United Kingdom greyhound Barneys Alarm from the Western Australian Invitation Class bitch Leading Example. He retired to stud with a race record of 51 starts for 34 wins, three seconds and two thirds for stakes of over $220,000. At one point Reggemite was the Track Record Holder at Cannington and Mandurah, recording four and three of the fastest times on the old tracks respectively. Trained by Linda Britton, Reggemite won seven WA feature finals, was a finalist in the 1999 Group 1 Australian Cup and was beaten a head in the Topgun, both in Melbourne. He was crowned the 1998 WA Greyhound of the Year.
