NAIDOC WEEK starts on Sunday 3 July and runs until Sunday 10 July.
The theme for this years NAIDOC is Songlines: the living narrative of our nation
RWWA’s Racing Marketing Officer, Rozy Bynder, who was runner up Miss Naidoc 2012, is a proud Noongar woman who lives for the Racing community.
Every year she supports NAIDOC Week by being involved in the community activities, she is the daughter of the first ever Aboriginal man to train a Group 1 winner, Rod Bynder who was a respectable and prominent figure within our racing family.
Rozy uses NAIDOC week as a platform to recognise and acknowledge the rich culture and traditions that she was born into and aims to encourage more Aboriginal people into our wonderful industry.
