Nominations for the most prestigious events of the world’s only single-track thoroughbred racing festival featuring a Group One race worth at least $1,000,000 on three consecutive Saturdays, this year’s second edition of The TABtouch Masters at Perth Racing’s Ascot Racecourse, close on Monday.
Connections have until midday Australian Western Standard Time on 16 October to nominate their gallopers for the Group One James Boag’s Premium-Railway Stakes, the Group One Crown Perth-Winterbottom Stakes, the Group One Magic Millions-Kingston Town Classic and/or the Group Two Sky Racing-WA Guineas.
Perth Racing’s Equine All Stars Incentive Scheme provides connections of eligible interstate- and overseas-based horses with effectively risk-free shots at glory in the Group One and Group Two races of The TABtouch Masters that will take place on Saturday 25 November, Saturday 2 December and Saturday 9 December.
“The charter flight from Melbourne to Perth is booked for Sunday 19 November – six days before The TABtouch Masters starts with the James Boag’s Premium-Railway Stakes and the Sky Racing-WA Guineas – and the Equine All Stars Incentive Scheme alleviates the up-front costs associated with getting to and from Ascot Racecourse from outside Western Australia,” said Mark Worwood, Racing and Wagering Manager of Perth Racing.
“Seriously good times is the tagline of The TABtouch Masters and last year’s inaugural edition delivered them for the likes of Gary Moore, who invaded the track to greet Group One winners Takedown and Tim Clark, and Darren Weir, whose first-ever runner in Western Australia, Stratum Star, triumphed at the highest level.
“Nominations and acceptances for all race meetings in Western Australia must be lodged with the Racing and Wagering Western Australia Trainers Service Centre.
