Punters become stars in new TABtouch campaign
New TABtouch campaign The Touch reverses the celebrity trend by putting punters in the spotlight and turning KISS rock star Gene Simmons into a supporting act.
Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) launched The Touch campaign in February across television, radio, print, socials and the TABtouch App.
TABtouch’s responsible gambling advertisement joined the campaign at the weekend, retaining the theme of Gene Simmons celebrating punters who have The Touch.
RWWA Chief Wagering Officer Mike Saunders said the creative direction was a refreshing change.
“Gene Simmons is a passionate, larger-than-life character who brings a vibrant and fun aspect to our campaign, while also highlighting the passion and enthusiasm of punters,” Mike said.
“Gene has also contributed to the success of The Touch with a catchy anthem dedicated to the love and knowledge punters have for sports and racing.
“Our campaign has boosted interest and positive engagement within the market, which we are confident will translate into commercial success.”
With the continued success of our marketing campaigns, RWWA can continue to provide a sustainable future for the Western Australian racing community.
