Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) has today announced the appointment of Tim Beaver to the position of Manager Thoroughbred Racing.
Mr Beaver comes to RWWA with a breadth of racing experience largely associated with his current role as Chief Executive Officer of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club and Secretary of the WA Provincial Thoroughbred Racing Association (WAPTRA).
Furthermore, he brings previous Senior Management experience in the commercial hospitality sector, along with a great passion for the WA racing industry.
“Following an extensive recruitment process, RWWA is pleased to welcome Mr Tim Beaver on board as the new Manager Thoroughbred Racing. Mr Beaver will be critical in delivering key elements of the new Thoroughbred Strategic Plan and driving the continuation of effective operational management specific to the Code,” said General Manager Racing, Charlotte Mills.
The appointment follows after previous Manager Thoroughbred Racing, David Hunter, accepted a new position within RWWA as Manager Commercial Racing and Planning.
Mr Beaver will commence in his new role as Manager Thoroughbred Racing in June 2017.
