Thank you, owners!
RWWA would like thank all owners for their continuous investment and support of the WA racing industry, and for their patience and cooperation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To celebrate the return of patrons back on-course, we are sharing the ownership experiences of some of our owners, such as greyhound owner Kieth Anderson, who is one of over 13,000 people investing in the WA racing industry.
“I got into racing when my friend Geoffrey Liebeck, who was a trainer at the time, took me to the track as a young boy. I immediately fell in love with the dogs and the atmosphere.”
“After making some inquiries, I was able to get my first experience owning a greyhound. This dog never raced so I kept her as a pet.”
“In 1990, I became a breeder, and the litter I bred and part owned won a total of 120 races. My ownership journey was off to a great start, but as most people know, ownership has its highs and lows.”
“The thrill of winning any race is such a great feeling. The friendships I have acquired in the sport over the years are long lasting, and we all share the love of greyhounds.”
Once again, RWWA would like to thank owners for their understanding during this challenging period, and for their support as we progressively get back to enjoying racing as we know it in WA.
