Tomorrow night sees the running of the Marathon at Gloucester Park. Magnificent Storm, above, won last year’s Marathon. Get The Last Word for all 10 races below.
RACE 1 – DULUX ACCREDITED PAINTERS PACE
- Michael Young (IM THEMIGHTYLUCY): “Step up in class but is aiming for an Oaks so she needs to be up to it. Has good gate speed and this is a good chance to see where we stack up against Wonderful To Fly.”

- Mitch Miller (IMA TINY DANCER): “She was racing really well up until her last run. Looking for her to run a much better race.”

- Michael Young (ORLANDO BLUE): “Should be close enough. Can cause a minor upset.”
- Mitch Miller (THE KRAKEN): “This horse is racing out of his skin. I’ll have to let him roll forward here. He will press forward at the start.”
- Micheal Ferguson (ROCKABALL): “Potential to lob handy early. Should be dangerous late if the trainer has him right.”
- Chris Willis (BLISSFULLABBEY): “Tough draw. She will go back and be running on strong.”

- Mitch Miller (VULTAN TIN): “He’s had a couple of weeks between runs. Dan and Phil have poured the work into him. With the draw we will be doing our best to hold up.”

RACE 6 – TABTOUCH MARATHON HANDICAP
- Luke Edwards (MAJOR ARTIST): “Great draw for him. Should get a great run and over the distance he will be there abouts.”
- Michael Young (COOPER): “Steps well. Should hit the rail. Don’t think the distance will worry him.”
- Greg Bond (HIMSELF): “Great last week and a big chance to go one better.”
- Brad Lynn (JOEY JAMES): “Had no luck last week. Going super. With a good step will be right in the finish.”
