Therefore, please note the following requirements will be in place for trials and race meetings, located within the Perth/Peel and South West regions:
- Masks will be mandatory in all indoor areas at racecourses in the Perth/Peel and South West areas.
- RWWA recommends masks be worn outside where physical distancing is not possible. RWWA also requires masks to be worn in the following outside areas:
- Greyhound racetracks
- Kennelling areas
- Parade areas
- During the boxing of greyhounds
- Catching pens
- Equine racetracks
- Mounting yards/parade rings
- Horse stalls
- Check in using the SafeWA app, ServiceWA app or a manual contact register.
- These requirements also apply to anyone who has been in Perth/Peel and South West regions and travelling to a race meeting in a different part of the state.

These measures will be reviewed regularly and the Chief Health Officer will continue to monitor the situation and provide advice.
A number of additional potential exposure sites have been identified across Western Australia. Exposure sites are listed on the HealthyWA website. It is likely more sites will be added and people are encouraged to keep checking the site regularly.
Anyone who has been to any of the exposure sites should follow the relevant testing and quarantine instructions. To find COVID-19 testing clinics click here.
