Harness Stewards Inquiry – Race 3 Gloucester Park 24 January 2020
Racing and Wagering Western Australia’s (RWWA) Stewards opened an inquiry today into an allegation that prior to the race, Trainer/Driver Mr C. Hall made an improper statement(s) to Trainer/Driver Mr C. Saligari with a runner engaged in the race with regard to the tactics and handling of their runner.
Evidence was heard from Mr Rhys Chappell (Deputy Chief Steward), Mr Clinton Hall (Trainer/Diver), Mr Craig Saligari (Trainer/Driver), Ms Christine Plozza (Stable hand/Owner) and Mr Michael Grantham (Driver).
After hearing evidence, at Mr C. Hall’s request, the inquiry was adjourned in order for him to seek further advice on the extensive amount of evidence presented today. As such the inquiry was adjourned to a time and date to be fixed.
Mr C. Hall’s Licenses with RWWA remain suspended pending the outcome of this matter.
