Harness stewards’ inquiry – trainer Kevin Keys (Flying Rumour)
Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) stewards have been advised by the Chem Centre in Perth that arsenic in excess of the threshold of 0.30 micrograms/mL has been detected in the sample taken from Flying Rumour, trained by Kevin Keys, following it competing in and finishing 11th in Race 9 at Gloucester Park on 2 June 2023.
The findings have been verified by Racing Analytical Services Ltd (Vic).
Accordingly, stewards will inquire into these reports on Wednesday, 16 August 2023, which Mr Keys has been directed to attend.
