Harness stewards’ inquiry – Trainer Mr Phil Duggan (Beat the Bank)
Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) stewards have been advised by the ChemCentre in Perth that arsenic in excess of the threshold of 0.30 micrograms per millilitre in urine permitted within the Rules of Harness Racing has been detected in the post-race urine sample taken from Beat the Bank after it competed in and finished first in Race 5 at Pinjarra on 17 October 2022.
These findings have been verified by Racing Analytical Services Ltd (Victoria).
Accordingly, stewards will inquire into these reports on Monday, 12 December 2022, which Mr Duggan has been directed to attend.
