Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) has released a new greyhound marketing campaign called ‘Leap Lead Love’, which tells the story of greyhound racing via powerful video and imagery, focusing on demonstrating the personal story and unbreakable bond that exists between human and animal.
The greyhound marketing campaign consists of a three-part video series, supported by still imagery, which demonstrates the main stages of a greyhound’s racing career, including:
- ‘Leap’ – the early stages of a greyhound’s racing career prior to racing, focusing on the first 16 months of a greyhound’s life.
- ‘Lead’ – the second video looks at the racing stage of a greyhound’s racing career, as the greyhound’s aim to take the ‘lead’ in the race as well as the industry leading by example in all facets of practice, namely welfare.
- ‘Love’ – the final video looks at the retirement stage of a greyhound’s racing careers and with ‘love’ symbolising the greyhound finding its forever home as a domestic pet.
“The ‘Leap, Lead, Love’ campaign showcases the unbreakable bond and peak working relationship that exists between human and animal at all stages of a greyhound’s career,” said RWWA General Manager Racing, Charlotte Mills.
“The campaign also highlights the breed’s outstanding versatility in terms of their incredible physical ability, which makes them the ideal athlete, but then at the same time their calm, laidback and loving nature also makes them the perfect domestic pet.”
The campaign will be rolled out over a three month period across many different digital platforms. For more information visit www.leapleadlove.com.au.
