Mandurah Cup Field Finalised

The field for next Friday night’s Group 3 Mandurah Cup (490m) has been finalised, following four heats last night.
Despite the withdrawal of star chasers Quick Jagger and Black Bombshell prior to the heats, a strong field has been assembled for the final.
Max Profit proved too slick for his rivals in the opening heat of the night, where he led from start to finish.
The veteran chaser flew out from box five and was able to hold off a late challenge from the Chris Halse-trained Quids In.
Yunderup Tank finished third and sealed his spot as the first reserve for the final.
It was a similar story in the second heat of the night, with Desert Rampage getting the jump on his rivals from box eight and just held off a late challenge from Bundles Galore.
All The Rave made it three wins in a row by taking out the third heat of the night.
The Tony Scott-trained chaser jumped to the front from box three, but never had any peace in front as Frida Monelli stuck on with All The Rave in the early stages.
The Northam Cup winner burst clear of his rivals in the straight though and announced himself as a genuine contender for next week’s final, while Sprightly Fella ran on gamely for second.
Leisel Monelli produced, arguably, the best performance of the night, running a time of 27.38 and beat progressive chaser Chips And Trains by six lengths.
